Kac WAWA is the story of a bachelor party for Andrzej, planned as a calm night with five men playing bridge. The groom doesn't suspect that his friends have planned a much more raunchy evening and invited girls met on the Internet. When Andrzej hesitates they decide to spike his drink with drugs and begin the craziest bachelor party of their lives.
The film is produced by a Polish distribution and production company Syrena Films (www.syrenafilms.com) in co-production with Film Media (www.filmmedia.com.pl).
"Until now, our company was mainly active in Polish and international cinema distribution. It was a co-producer to several popular productions such as Essential Killing, The Cake and Little Moscow. Currently we are preparing four serious production projects. Kac WAWA is the first one," Radosław Śmigulski, the General Director of Syrena Films, told FNE.
The original script is based on real events and was written by a screen-writing team including Piotr Czaja, Jacek Samojłowicz and Krzysztof Węglarz. The producer told FNE that the script and film project were created in Poland before the major success of the American comedy The Hangover and now falls perfectly into this new trend in entertainment cinema. It will be the first Polish commercial comedy with a major production and set design comparable to Hollywood pictures. It is also the first Polish comedy with 3D film sequences.
The production has a cast of popular Polish actors including Borys Szyc, Sonia Bohosiewicz, Borys Szyc, Sonia Bohosiewicz, Roma Gąsiorowska, Antoni Pawlicki and Tomasz Karolak. The budget has not been announced.
