FESTIVALS: Warsaw Announces Competition Line-up

    WARSAW: Twenty films will compete in the main competition of the Warsaw IFF (www.wff.pl) taking place 7-17 October 2011. The selection includes four world premieres, three international premieres, and five European premieres. Poland accounts for two of the competition films, as well as one coproduction in competition.

    In the 1-2 Competition section, 17 films compete, The festival also hosts a Free Spirit competition and a documentary competition.

    The industry event, CentEast Market Warsaw, which presents a selection of East European works in progress, will be held on 14-16 October in Warsaw before moving to a parallel presentation in Moscow on 22 October.
