Slovak director Ivan Ostrochovsky won the award in the Free Spirit competition for the Slovak/Czech coproduction Koza. A Croatian coproduction with Iceland and Denmark, Sparrows directed by Runar Runnarsson, won the competition of first and second films.
The awards were announced on 17 October 2015 and the festival concluded on 18 October.
