FNE at Cinema in Sneakers Film Festival 2016: Balcony and Hordur Take Top Prizes

    WARSAW: The Cinema in Sneakers Film Festival, which took place in Warsaw 1-12 June 2016, gave its main prizes to films from Germany and the UK. The juries of the festival, which was created in 2013, are comprised entirely of young viewers.

    This year the Children’s Jury awarded the Main Prize for the best short film for children to Niki Padidar for her film Ninnoc and the award for best feature film for children went to Ekrem Ergün for his film Hordur. The Youth Jury awarded the Main Prize for the best short film for youth to Toby Fell-Holden for his film Balcony and the award for best feature film for the youth went to Mikhail Mestetskiy for his film Rag Union.
