A total of 29 projects were submitted for the 2017 funding competition. The producers that received coproduction grants are obliged to connect the production with the region by its topic or by placing a part of the shoot there.

The biggest grant of 450,000 PLN / 106,934 EUR was assigned to 3. a new drama from Wojciech Smarzowski produced by Profil Film Jacek Rzehak, followed by 100,000 PLN / 23,760 EUR to the drama from Tomasz Szafrański entitled Rock and Roll Eddie, produced by Dogoda Media.

The Krakow Film Fund supported four feature film productions, one documentary and one animated film.
