WARSAW: Polish Radio reports that director Andrzej Wajda has cast Monica Bellucci in his biopic of Solidarity leader Lech Walesa.
Bellucci will play Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci and is scheduled for a two-day shoot to take place in Poland.
Wajda is also said to be in discussions with Meryl Streep to play the part of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher of Great Britain.
