The film is based on the true story of a Hungarian village after World War I, where the village wives began poisoning their abusive husbands. A provincial clerk is sent to investigate. The producer plans to relocate the setting to Northern Germany.

The producer is DCM Pictures of Berlin. DCM film distribution is already attached. The film has a budget of 1.7 m EUR, with 272,000 EUR secured. It received script development support from Film Center Serbia. The producers are looking for coproduction partners from Romania, Poland and the Baltics, and a world sales agent.
