Universal Picks Diaz-Don't Clean Up This Blood

    {mosimage}BUCHAREST: Daniele Vicari's feature on the brutal G8 Summit in Genoa 2001, Diaz-Don't Clean Up This Blood, has been pickep up by Universal Pictures International Entertainment (www.universalpictures.co.uk) for distribution in the U.K. and Ireland, Germany, Benelux, German-speaking Switzerland and Brazil.

    The sales agent Fandango Portobello (www.portobellopictures.com/Fandango-Portobello) has also signed distribution agreements covering Spain (by Vertigo Films, www.vertigofilms.com), Canada (by Mongrel Media, www.mongrelmedia.com) and Poland (by Vivarto, www.vivarto.pl).

    Diaz- Don't Clean Up This Blood premiered at the Berlinale 2012 (www.berlinale.de), receiveing the Panorama Audience Award. It was produced by Domenico Procacci and Fandango Italy (www.fandango.it), in co-production with Bobby Păunescu and Mandragora Movies Romania (www.mandragoramovies.ro) and Jean Labadie and Le Pacte France (www.le-pacte.com). Shooting took place primarily in Romania in June-August 2011.

    The American premiere of the film take place at the Seattle International Film Festival in June.
