The film portraying an emotional yet humorous relationship between a dominant mother and her grown-up son was produced by Parada Film. On another level, the film depicts contemporary upper-class Romania, low-level corruption and trading of influence in core social institutions. Child’s Pose stars Luminița Gheorghiu (The Death of Mr Lazarescu), Bogdan Dumitrache (Traffic), Ilinca Goia and Natașa Raab.

The director’s previous feature films received the Grand Prize of the Jury in Locarno and at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival. Child’s Pose will also screen at the European Film Market.
