A Month in Thailand/O lună în Thailanda tells a story over the course of 24 hours of a young man (Andrei Mateiu) who is breaking up with his girlfriend (Ioana Anastasia Anton) and trying to get back together with a former girlfriend (Sînziana Nicola) on New Year's Eve. Negoescu (27), part of the younger Romanian New Wave, captures the disorientation and shallowness of his own generation.

The film had its world premiere in Venice International Film Critics' Week 2012. It was distributed in the Romanian cinemas by Parada Film starting 16 November 2012.

A Month in Thailand/O lună în Thailanda is a 100% Romanian production with Ada Solomon and HiFilm Productions producing, and it was supported by the Romanian National Centre for Cinema.
