The writer/director is moving from the psychological thriller (One Floor Below, Multimedia Est, presented in Un Certain Regard in Cannes Film Festival 2015) to a drama about parenting. The story will focus on a couple who are adopting a child, and then find out that they can actually have children.
Muntean is now working on the synopsis with his usual co-writers Răzvan Rădulescu and Alexandru Baciu. Dragoş Vâlcu will produce again through Multimedia Est. Muntean told FNE that once they have a script, they will apply for funding at the Romanian National Film Center (CNC).
Muntean is currently preparing for the Romanian release of One Floor Below/Un etaj mai jos, set for 18 September 2015.
