FESTIVALS: The 7th Divan Film Festival Ready to Kick Off

    CRAIOVA: The 7th edition of Divan Film Festival, the only festival dedicated to cinema and food in the Balkans, will start in Craiova on 20 August and will continue in Portul Cultural Cetate until 28 August 2016.

    This year the theme of the festival is “Urban stories from the Balkans”. The festival will screen nine feature films, three medium-length films and 26 short films. Concerts and debates with foreign guests will add to the programme.

    Divan Film Festival is organised by Fundaţia pentru Poezie "Mircea Dinescu" together with Craiova City Hall and Craiova County Council, with the support of the Romanian Film Centre, the Romanian Cultural Institute and Romanian Filmmakers Union (UCIN).
