FESTIVALS: The 6th Cinepolitica IFF Ready to Kick Off in Bucharest

    BUCHAREST: Seven feature films and documentaries are competing for the main prize at the 6th edition of Cinepolitica International Film Festival, set to take place in Bucharest from 20 to 23 April 2017.

    Afterimage (Akson Studio), the latest film by Andrzej Wajda, will open the festival. Other new political films are in the sidebar. The festival trophy, the best political film award and a special mention will be awarded.

    Cinepolitica is organised by Asociaţia Cultură şi Imagine and takes place under the patronage of the Ion Luca Caragiale Theatre and Film University and the National University of Arts. The Romanian Film Centre is supporting.
