Kanal D goes international

    S.C. Dogan Media International S.A. will extend the broadcasting of Kanal D TV channel abroad, having received approval from Romanian National Audiovisual Council (CNA) (www.cna.ro) in early July.

    Kanal D (www.kanald.ro) will broadcast only the programs for which it has a license. The notification is made on the basis of the contracts in use, Kanal D already having the right to relay its programs within the Romanian borders.

    Kanal D wants to extend its European reach to territories with Romanian communities.

    S.C. Dogan Media International S.A. is a subsidiary of Dogan Yayin Holding (www.dmg.com), a leader on the Turkish media market.
