Imobiliare TV and Turism TV, a real estate and a travel channel controlled by the company More Liason Services SRL, received a satelite licence mid-December 2010. Both are expected to be launched in January 2011 and to become profitable in 2012.

Another new channel, Convergenţe Europene, a project of Fundaţia Convergenţe Europene (the European Convergences Foundation), received also a licence and will start airing on the internet until it concludes a deal with a local communication company. The channel will promote Romanian films.

In another session, The National Audiovisual Council of Romania also gave a licence to a generalist channel, 6TV, controlled by S.C. Radiotelevision TV 6 SRL. The channel will air on the internet first but plans to move to the satelite transmission soon.
