BRATISLAVA: Viktor Csudai’s feature film Vojtech will screen at the Slovak Film Week, a showcase for domestic production organised by the Slovak Film and Television Academy from 11 to 17 April 2016.

The film is an urban comedy dominated by the story of a lost man in his forties. Vojtech is going through a midlife crisis. He has never felt in any way significant but now discovers that he is useless in every possible aspect. He lost his wife, he doesn’t see his family, he has not been promoted in his job for seven years and he has no friends. Matej Landl plays the main character.

The film is a Slovak production and was produced by CultFilm in coproduction with Grimaldi Production and RTVS. The comedy was supported with 100,000 EUR by the Slovak Audiovisual Fund and also by the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic.

Vojtech was released by Continental Film in Slovak cinemas on 17 December 2015 and had 27,657 admissions after the first month.
