PRODUCTION: Will finishes shooting in Turkey

By Kerem Akca

Will, a co-production of England's Strangelove Films and Turkey's Galata Film, directed by Ellen Perry, has completed its Turkish shoot.

The $15 million film is produced by Taha Altayli, Mustafa Karahan and Muharrem Gulmez, known primarily for their work on local Turkish TV series; Mark Cooper, Stephen Moffitt, Timothy J. Nicholas, and Stewart Till from England; and Raphaelle Benoliel from France. The line producer is Alex Sutherland.

Filming in the Turkish town of Balat, containing the Ataturk Olympic Stadium scene and a Paris-set scene took place in May and June. The production moves to England and France for further shoots. The film is about the journey of a football fan who follows the Liverpool team as it wins the Champions League final in 2005.

Will is scheduled to be released in the USA, England, Germany and Italy in December 2010, and in Turkey in February 2011.
