NISI MASA, and FEST an are glad to announce the call for applications for its itinerant film production project for 2012 which will be made this November on the Route between Paris and Guimarães with the final destination: Guimarães, 2012 European Capital of Culture.

Borderline aims to investigate the immigration issue in Europe.

12 young filmmakers will make 4 short films while traveling inside of a purpose constructed Double Decker Bus, which will also be a moving office studio and accomodation. The project will take place between 10th of November - 1st of December.


Deadline for applications is 10th of July, 2012

The announcmente of the selectied participants will be made on the first week of August

- The candidates should be between the ages 18-32.

- Selected participants will arrive in the starting city on the 10th of November; departure from Guimarães is on the 3rd of December.

- Participants will have 20% of their travel costs covered up to a limit of 75 Euros financing. They should provide the organizers a scanned/digital version of their tickets or boarding passes.
