For the second time in Prague, Czech Republic, IDF opens a slate of industry activities aimed at Central and East European documentary films and projects in all stages of completion - development, production, post-production. East Doc Platform is a substantial industry programme and networking opportunities for talented East European filmmakers and major international players in documentary cinema.
East Doc Platform is organized by the Institute of Documentary Film in association with the One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival and in co-operation with La Fémis Archidoc: Documentary and Archives.

EAST EUROPEAN FORUM
Since 2012, Prague holds largest meeting of East European documentary filmmakers with Europe's and North America´s leading commissioning editors, distributors, buyers and film fund representatives. Directors and independent producers of 21 projects are selected to present their documentaries for co-production, pre-sale or other forms of financial support.
DOC LAUNCH PRESENTATION
Doc Launch presentation introduces 7 handpicked feature-length documentaries from Central and Eastern Europe. Festival programmers, distributors, sales agents, members of the press and audiences get the first glimpse of films in post-production slated for theatrical release over the next year.
EAST SILVER VIDEOLIBRARY
The new East Silver Videolibrary in Prague is the spring round of the traditional East Silver Market, the most essential CEE documentary film market. East Silver Videolibrary brings an update to the region’s production with the additional selection of new documentary releases and presents it to the invited broadcasters, film festival representatives, distributors and sales agents.
