Chief Creative Officer of Tribeca and former Director of Sundance, Geoff Gilmore, will deliver this year’s keynote at the Developing Your Film Festival (DYFF) training course. One of the most accomplished creative forces in the industry, Geoff has led two of independent cinemas’ most powerful institutions and will be sharing his vision for “The Film Festival of the Future”.
Developing Your Film Festival (DYFF) takes place in July in the UNESCO World Heritage mediaeval hilltop town of Motovun in Croatia, an intensive high-level training programme that brings together like-minded film festival professionals from across Europe to improve business skills, develop creative strategies for building audiences, and nurture collaborations. Joining Geoff Gilmore as speakers and tutors are Mikael Fellenius, CEO of Göteborg Film Festival, Alessandro Raja, CEO & Founder of Festival Scope, Mindaugas Morkunas, Vilnius Film Festival's Head of Festival Development, Domenico La Porta, Chief Editor of Cineuropa, as well as specialists on communications, audience trends and sales/distribution.
