The award of 30.000 PLN, sponsored by Polish Film Institute, towards the costs of the participation in the EAVE 2017 workshops will be granted to one of the selected projects in development pitched at the Polish Days (27-29 July), the most important industry event in Poland, held in the framework of the T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival (21-32 July 2016) in Wroclaw - European Capital of Culture 2016.
The award will be presented during Polish Days awards ceremony on July 29th 2016 by the EAVE's CEO - Kristina Trapp, who welcomes the new collaboration with undisguised excitement: Over the last couple of years, we have witnessed at EAVE a young generation of strong producing talent. Recent Polish projects developed at EAVE and supported by PISF such as UNITED STATES OF LOVE (directed by Tomasz Wasilewski) that received Silver Bear at Berlinale 2016 and THE HERE AFTER by Magnus von Horn screened in Directors Fortnight at Cannes 2015, illustrate this trend. We are extremely delighted that the Polish Film Institute supports upcoming producers in their international careers and could not imagine a better platform for this cooperation than the New Horizons International Film Festival, renowned for presenting uncompromising, innovative and original cinema from all over the world that explores new horizons in film language, expression and storytelling.

About EAVE
EAVE is one of the leading training and development providers for producers in Europe, renowned for the EAVE Producers Workshop. The EAVE 2017 Producers Workshop is aimed at producers, both fiction and documentary, who are already working in the film and television industries who wish to begin to operate on a European wide basis by increasing their knowledge of producing and co-producing in Europe and beyond, by building up a pan European professional network. EAVE welcomes applications from associated branches of the industry - e.g. commissioning, funding, legal and finance, festivals & markets, media administration.
