The Distribution Support Programme is intended only for professionals based in Eurimages member States which do not have access to the EU Creative Europe-MEDIA distribution programme, the i.e.: Armenia, Canada, Georgia, Russian Federation, Switzerland and Turkey.
Cinema support
In the framework of the Cinema Support Programme, the Board of Management of the Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund agreed to award a total amount of €264 859 to 33 cinemas (1 in Armenia, 16 in Russia and 16 in Turkey) for the 2017 programming.
Promotion Programme
The Board of Management of the Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund will sponsor a Eurimages lunch in the framework of the inititiative Meetings on the Bridge organised during the Istanbul Film Festival with a financial participation of 2000 euros.
Since it was set up in 1988, EURIMAGES has supported 1932 co-productions for a total amount of approximately €567 million.
