Polish Film Institute and EAVE continue with a successful partnership

    Polish Film Institute and EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs), one of the leading professional training, project development and networking organizations for audiovisual producers, are happy to announce the continuation of their successful partnership that will again and for the fourth time offer a scholarship for one Polish producer for the EAVE 2020 Producers Workshop

    The award of 30.000 PLN, sponsored by the Polish Film Institute towards the costs of the participation in the EAVE 2020 workshops, will be granted to one of the selected projects in development pitched at the Polish Days (July 30 – August 1, 2019), the most important industry event in Poland, held in the framework of the New Horizons International Film Festival (July 25 - August 4, 2019) in Wroclaw.

    The award will be presented during the Polish Days awards ceremony on August 1, 2019, by EAVE’s CEO Kristina Trapp. 

    Last year`s beneficiary of the PISF/EAVE award has been Agnieszka Dziedzic (Koi Studio), who is now participating to EAVE Producers Workshop 2019.

    Beata Rzezniczek (Madants), also participant of EAVE Producers Workshop 2019, is presenting EAVE project OTHER PEOPLE by Aleksandra Terpinska at the Polish Days this year.

    SUNBURNED by Carolina Hellsgard, producer: EAVE graduate Nicole Gerhards

    MIRA by Anna Jadowska, producer: EAVE graduate Maria Blicharska.


    Recent Polish projects successfully developed at EAVE are THE MUTE by Bartosz Konopka (Best Cinematography at Gdynia IFF 2018), UNITED STATES OF LOVE by Tomasz Wasilewski, which has received a Silver Bear at Berlinale 2016, and THE HERE AFTER by Magnus von Horn, which has been screened in Directors Fortnight in Cannes 2015.

    EAVE could not imagine a better platform for this cooperation than the New Horizons International Film Festival, renowned for presenting uncompromising, innovative and original cinema from all over the world.
