The winter semester for our master's programs has begun and we are delighted to welcome a diverse group of seven talented students who bring a unique blend of skills, backgrounds and perspectives to the European Film Business and Law LL.M. | MBA.
In early October, the cohort officially began its journey with the first online module
"European Film & TV Business: Economic Framework", which featured sessions with esteemed professors and industry experts who provided a comprehensive overview of the current film industry landscape and sparked insightful discussions on challenges, trends and future directions.
The students will meet in person for the first time in November for their second module, which will take place in Potsdam-Babelsberg.

Three highly experienced TV and film industry professionals share their expertise in our eTraining The Art of Pitching.
They explain how to prepare, carry out and follow up a pitch to give you an idea of what a perfect pitch looks like and what it takes to convince the right people of your idea.
Topics include different ways to pitch, the Dos and Don'ts as well as cultural charecteristics. Furthermore, you will be introduced to different perspectives to a pitch – the producers and the funders viewpoint.
Play Promote Publish – Marketing Strategies for the Games Industry
This was the 2nd edition of the Games Marketing Workshop!
At the workshop Play Promote, Publish, experienced experts such as Tim Ahlert (Senior Channel Specialist/Partnerships, Headup), Ata Sergey Nowak (Managing Director & Co-Founder, Torpor Games) and Irene Preuss (Indie Game Developer & Marketing Specialist) familiarized the participants with trends and strategies in the areas of marketing, PR and self-publishing.

SERIES' WOMEN alumna Jessica Hefti promoted as producer at Zodiac Pictures
Jessica Hefti has been promoted as producer at the Swiss production company Zodiac Pictures. Jessica participated in the 2021/2022 edition of SERIES' WOMEN, our international female leadership program for series producers. She is known for producing the Swiss hit series Neumatt, created by writer and show-runner Marianne Wendt, who will also be lecturing as an expert in this year's WINTERCLASS – Serial Writing and Producing at EPI.
