Are You Making the Most of AI as an Independent Producer?

    16 June | 10:00-14:00 CEST | 50 €

Independent producers can't match the budgets of big production companies. But with the right AI tools, they don't need to.
On 16 June, this focused four-hour online seminar AI Tools for Independent Producers focusses on what matters: which AI tools are worth your time, how to use them effectively and where they can genuinely take the pressure off.
From revising production workflows and managing communication to development and beyond, AI is levelling the playing field for independents.
Our three specialists Nuno Bernardo (beActive Entertainment), Maciej Żemojcin (AI Film and Virtual Production Specialist) and Paul Schleicher (Snafu Pictures) share what is already working in the real world.

New Look. Same Expertise. Berlin, October.

    8–10 October 2026 | Berlin | €590 early bird (until 8 August)

You may have noticed we have a fresh new look. The ELF programme has a new visual identity. But the rigour, the experts, and the practical focus that you have come to expect from us? Those are very much still here.
Not all rights are immediately obvious — a song hummed by a protagonist, a poster glimpsed in the background, a script inspired by real events. Clearing Rights for Film and TV gives you the strategies and legal knowledge to handle these issues head-on, before they become costly problems.
Led by top industry experts including Katharina Domnick (Brehm & v. Moers), the workshop combines real-world case studies with excellent networking opportunities across the European audiovisual industry.

    About the workshop

Beyond Talent – The Power of Networks in the Audiovisual Industry

On 1 July 2026, we are organising a panel discussion in collaboration with WIFT Germany and Filmfest München as part of the Industry Days, entitled "Beyond Talent – The Power of Networks in the Audiovisual Industry". The session will explore networks as a core structural element of the film and media industry, examining questions of access, visibility, resources, and opportunity: who gains entry to decision-making circles — and who remains on the margins?

The panel takes place from 2:15 to 3:30 pm at Studio TV 1, Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film (Bernd-Eichinger-Platz 1, Munich), and will be conducted in English. Moderation by Mara Luka (WIFT Germany). Accreditation required.
