During 3 days the participants had individual meetings with Heads of Studies of current edition - Tom Abrams and Christian Routh, concentrating on analyzing and discussing new versions of scripts, which were enhanced during three month long online session.
ScripTeast participants also had a pitching session with Sibylle Kurz, who is one of the best specialists on this field in the industry and attended European Film Market and festival screenings.
After the Berlinale session scriptwriters taking part in the project will come back to work on their scripts - their final versions will be ready before Cannes Film Festival. In Cannes ScripTeast Advisory Board, whose members are Agnieszka Holland, Manfred Schmidt, Sandy Lieberson, Antonio Saura and Dariusz Jablonski, will present the best script of the edition with the Krzysztof Kieslowski ScripTeast Award.
ScripTeast is organized by the Independent Film Foundation and supported by Media Programme of EU, National Center for Culture in Poland, Polish Film Institute, Visegrad Fund and Apple Film Production; with partnership of European Film Academy, Ateliers du Cinéma Européen, Producers Network, e-Talenta, Final Draft and festivals in Berlin, Cannes and Karlovy Vary.
