BELGRADE: Afterparty will screen in the National Competition programme (Serbian Film) of the 45th edition of the Belgrade International Film Festival – FEST, running from 24 February to 5 March 2017. The sophomore feature film by young Serbian director Luka Bursać will have its world premiere at the FEST on 5 March 2017 and will be theatrically released in Serbia the following day by Fame Solutions.

BELGRADE: The 45th edition of the Belgrade International Film Festival – FEST will screen 95 feature films in 14 different categories from 24 February to 5 March 2017. Emir Kusturica’s latest film On the Milky Road / Na mlečnom putu will open the festival, while Martin Scorsese’s Silence will close Belgrade’s most important cinematic event.

BELGRADE: Serbian actress Bojana Novaković is in production with her directorial debut, the documentary The Forbidden Aunt / Zabranjena tetka. The film is a study of the actress-director’s own aunt and was supported by Film Center Serbia.

ROTTERDAM: Serbia has signed the revised Council of Europe Convention on Cinematographic Coproduction, updated for the digital age and welcoming non-European countries, during the 2017 edition of the International Film Festival Rotterdam.

BELGRADE: Serbian newcomer Katarina Mutić has completed her first documentary, The Way of the East / Tako mi na Istoku. The film follows a fortune-teller and was supported by Film Center Serbia.
