PRODUCTION: Bruno Anković Shoots Croatian/Serbian/Slovenian Coproduction The Celebration
Croatia 15-12-2022ZAGREB: Debut feature The Celebration / Proslava, directed by Bruno Anković and produced by Rea Rajčić through Croatia’s Eclectica in coproduction with Serbia’s Baš Čelik, Slovenia’s Vertigo and Croatia’s Spiritus Movens, started filming last week in the Lika-Senj County.
ZAGREB: The Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) distributed 202,400 EUR / 1.5 m HRK to five minority coproductions on 14 December 2022.

ZAGREB: War drama The Sixth Bus / Šesti autobus directed by Eduard Galić, produced by MissArt and distributed by Duplicato Media, had 18,141 admissions in its first weekend in Croatia, making it the best domestic opening in 2022. This is also the fourth best opening of a Croatian film of all-time.
ZAGREB: Producer Daniel Pek was chosen from among seven candidates as the new artistic director of the Pula Film Festival, Croatia’s biggest festival dedicated to national production and coproduction.
ZAGREB: Croatian cinema Kinoteka, run by the August Cesarac Centre for Culture and Film with support from the City of Zagreb and the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, has become the 17th Croatian cinema to join the Europa Cinemas network.
