The CinEast festival welcomes features as well as short films (fiction, documentary and animated) made by filmmakers from the following countries only: Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, FYROM, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. Exceptionally, other films having a strong connection to the mentioned countries can be considered.
The films can be submitted via the FilmFestivalLife platform.
The submission deadline is 30 June 2014.

About CinEast
The CinEast festival aims to promote the cinema of Central and Eastern European countries of the former communist bloc in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. The Festival has existed since 2008 and the upcoming 7th edition will take place between 9th and 26th October 2014. The Festival offers a wide selection of feature, documentary and short films (fiction, animated and documentary) as well as a rich programme of accompanying events, including concerts, exhibitions, debates, culinary evenings etc. Selected feature films are included in the Official competition to compete for the Grand Prix and the Special Prize of the Jury awarded by an international jury. In 2013, the CinEast festival presented 60 feature and 50 short films in 13 locations around the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg as well as in Metz (France), welcoming 20 special guests and attracting over 6 700 spectators.
