The screening of Danton will be followed by a career conversation with production designer Allan Starski, joined by his wife, costume designer Wieslawa Starska (9/10), and preceded by a free masterclass (Ciné Utopia, 9/10). Other highlights: a tribute to Béla Tarr with a full screening of his seven-hour-plus Sátántangó (Théâtre des Capucins, 10/10); a tribute to actor Andrzej Seweryn, culminating in a career conversation after the international premiere of Picasso’s Mermaid (Kinepolis, 17/10); a tribute to Petar Valchanov and Kristina Grozeva around Black Money for White Nights (Ciné Utopia, 22/10); and a tribute to International Jury President Ildikó Enyedi after the screening of On Body and Soul (Ciné Utopia, 22/10).
