The festival (November 10-15) opens with the German-Russian co-production THE LAST STATION, starring Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer as the main characters Leo Tolstoy and his wife Sofya.
The festival's regional focus is on the Black Sea countries. Poland, Russia, and Khazakhstan will each be highlighted in festival theme days.
The programme consists of 140 films from 34 countries, with competition films vying for € 76.000 in awards.
