The film 'The Cage' is the winner of Short Films Competition

The Jury of Short Films Competition of 26. WIFF decided to give the award for 'The Best Short Film' to the film 'The Cage' directed by Adrian Sitaru (Romania). The jury's justification reads as follows: For an outstanding and unpretentious way of dealing with the subject. For the simplicity of execution, but also for very complex performances of the actors, which enabled the real persons to appear on screen.

Two films got special menitons. 'The Order of Things' by César Esteban Alenda, José Esteban Alenda has a special mention for his bold description from inside of a daily drama too often considered as trivial. 'Autumn Man' by Jonas Selberg Augustsén won a special mention for his formal qualities at the service of a story full of poetry and humor.
