PULA: Fourteen long films including 11 feature films, one animated film and two documentaries are in the Croatian film section of the 70th Pula Film Festival, which will take place 15 – 22 July 2023. The war drama Hotel Pula directed by Andrej Korovljev and produced by Pula’s Kinematograf will open the festival.

“We want Pula to become an important starting point for the distribution of Croatian films in the future. That is why we are extremely happy that half of the Croatian films chose Pula for their world premiere. For the first time, we will award one of them with the Kino Mreža Award, which ensures its distribution in the Croatian Independent Cinemas Network”, said Danijel Pek, the new artistic director of the Pula Film Festival.
