FESTIVALS: Cyprus Festival Call for Short Film Scripts

NICOSIA: The 12th Cyprus International Film Festival, which will run from 14 to 24 June in Paphos, has opened a call to script writers of short films to submit their work for a special festival project. Prior to the festival a jury will select the most suitable short films to be filmed over a two-day period, then edited and screened during the festival.

The selected scripts will be filmed in Paphos and screened during the festival’s award ceremony.

There is no limitation on the subject of the script but the action of the story must take place in Paphos. This year’s festival is taking place at the same time as the European Capital of Culture Paphos 2017 official events.
