CME Promotes Mocanu, Budinschi of PRO TV

PRAGUE: Central European Media Enterprises (www.cetv-net.com) announced the appointment of Constantin Mocanu, General Director of PRO TV, to the position of Senior Vice-President Head of Voyo. PRO TV Head of Television Anca Budinschi will replace Mocanu.

Mocanu will be in charge of coordinating the strategy of the pan-regional video-on-demand service at the corporate level. Voyo will become part of the Broadcasting Division as CME continues to increase focus on its paid distribution platform.

Mocanu started his career at PRO TV 19 years ago as a journalist and was General Director for three years. Budinschi has also been at PRO TV for 19 year history.

Mocanu will continue as General Director until the end of 2012 to oversee the handover of responsibilities, moving to Voyo full time in January 2013.
