PRAGUE: The nominations for the 22nd annual Czech Lion awards will be announced on 14 January 2015.
The awards will presented at a ceremony broadcast live on Czech TV on 21 February.
Some 50 Czech feature length films made in 2014 are eligible for the awards this year. The awards are presented by the Czech Film and Television Academy. This year the films will be available for viewing via on-line streaming to make the voting process easier.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
