FESTIVALS: One World Festival Announces Lineup

    PRAGUE: Fifteen titles will vie in the main competition of One World International Human Rights Film Festival, which kicks off on 2 March 2015. Among them are Alexander Nanau's Toto and His Sisters and Vladislava Plančíková's Felvidek. Caught in Between.

    Polish minority coproductions The Queen of Silence by Agnieszka Zwiefka and Something Better to Come by Hanna Polak were also selected for the main competition. Panorama will feature 12 titles. Other sidebar sections are: Captive Minds, Yougoscope, Echoes of the Freedom Film Fest, Docs for Kids, Czech Perspectives, So-called Civilisation, The Power of the Media, Journey to Freedom, Right to Know and Learning Forever. The East Doc Platform organised by the Institute of Documentary Film will take place from 2 to 8 March 2015.

    The grand jury is composed of Anna Har, Brian Knappenberger, Liz Rosenthal, Lise Birk Pedersen and Radim Procházka. The festival will welcome more than 100 guests this year, which is a record in its history. One World takes place in Prague from 2 to 11 March, then in 33 other cities in the Czech Republic and in Brussels.
