PRAGUE: The State Cinematography Fund distributed 2.6 m EUR / 66 m CZK for the production of eight feature films. The highest support of 531,287 EUR / 13.5 m CZK went to Kryštof directed by Zdeněk Jiráský and produced by Fulfilm.
Other projects receiving production funding are Jan Palach, directed by Robert Sedláček and produced by CINEART TV Prague, and the ambitious sci-fi thriller Restore Point / Bod Obnovy, directed by Roman Hloz and produced by Film Kolektiv.
A total of 25 projects applied. The results were announced on 27 November 2017.

The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
FNE’s objectives include VISIBILITY for the region and AUDIENCES for films by providing a special focus on the region.
