Each of the competition sections has one Czech/Slovak coproduction: the children’s TV film The Third Wish directed by Vit Karas; and the teen dance and music film Backstage by Andrea Sedláčková.
The festival also has competitions of animated films, European first feature films and European documentaries for children. This year’s country focus is on neighboring Austria.
On the festival’s growing industry side, the festival will have discussions and panels on the Zlin regional film incentives, a market for Zlin film school students to pitch to industry reps, the five year anniversary of the kids channel CT :D, an animation round table, and a pitching session.
