There are several big names among the directors, including David Ondříček, whose project Zatopek gets the highest grant of 15m CZK, Jan Prušinovský, Viktor Tauš and Ondřej Trojan, this time collaborating with the script writer Petr Jarchovský.

According to Petr Vítek, the chairman of the Fund´s Council, the council continues following the principle of supporting fewer projects with higher grants. He adds that the projects which have already received the Fund´s support in the previous phases of development, or apply repeatedly, were prepared better.

The results were publicly announced by the Czech Film Fund on 29 May 2018.
