BRNO: EKOFILM has extended the call for entries for its 47th edition, which will take place 20 – 23 October 2021 under the theme Address: Planet Earth. Submissions will be accepted until 30 June 2021 at https://filmfreeway.com/EkoFilm-556504.
EKOFILM, which is the oldest international film festival in Europe focused on the environment, plans live screenings and meetings with the directors.
The festival is held by the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic in cooperation with organisers Key promotion, the Masaryk University and EkoInkubátor.
The competition will feature three categories: Beauty of Nature, Central European Films and Short Films.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
FNE’s objectives include VISIBILITY for the region and AUDIENCES for films by providing a special focus on the region.
