Tangerines by Zaza UrushadzeLONDON: The Estonian and Georgian ambassadors along with the cream of the London filmmaking community turned out for a pre-Oscar screening of foreign Oscar contender Tangerines at the EBRD last night.
The Estonian/Georgian coproduction was presented by the head of the Estonian Film Institute Edith Sepp. FNE was there. The film has already garnered many awards and critical kudos around the world. Click HERE for photos by Dermot Doorly.
The film was produced by the Estonian company Allfilm in coproduction with Georgia's Cinema 24 and supported by the Estonian Film Institute and the Georgian National Film Centre. The Oscars will take place on 22 February 2015.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region.
