Iron Sky Team Share the Script with Crowd Funding

HELSINKI: The makers of Iron Sky. The Coming Race, the sequel to 2012 film Iron Sky, also by Finnish director Timo Vuorensola, are sending the script for their new film out to thousands of fans worldwide.

Filmmakers of the scifi-comedy sent out the first draft of the script on September 23 to over a thousand crowd funding supporters, allowing them to give feedback and further development ideas for the shooting draft. ”Hollywood could not make this movie because they would be afraid of losing the control by letting the fans too close”, said producer Tero Kaukomaa

The film is a Finnish-German co-production and will be produced by Tero Kaukomaa through Iron Sky Universe from Finland, and Oliver Damian through 27 Film Productions from Germany. The film is in pre-production and will be shot with an estimated 10m EUR budget in 2015, to be released in 2016.
