FNE at BIAFF 2014: Winners of the 9th Batumi International ArtHouse FF

    BATUMI: The 9th Batumi International Art-house Film Festival (BIAFF) held in Batumi 14-21 September 2014 gave its Grand Prix to Lenny Abrahamson for his comedy Frank (UK/Ireland, 2014) that had it's world premiere in Sundance.

    The Special Jury Prize went to the French/Georgian coproduction Brides, dir. Tinatin Kajrishvili

    Main documentary award went to Sergei Loznitsa for his latest documetary Maidan about the Ukrainian protests against president Viktor Yanukovych and the government at the Independence Square in Kiev.
