The Trader by Tamta GabrichidzeTBILISI: A Georgian short documentary The Trader / Sovdagari directed by Tamta Gabrichidze will be broadcast on Netflix starting 9 February 2018.
The Trader had its premiere at the Hot Docs Documentary Film Festival 2017, where it won best short documentary award.
This 23-minute film follows a man who travells by a minivan through Georgia to sell everyday goods and second-hand clothing.
This is the second Georgian film to be broadcast on Netflix after My Happy Family directed by Nana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Gross, which has been available on Netflix starting 1 December 2017.
