BERLIN: The head of the Georgian National Film Center (GNFC) Mamuka Bliadze and the general director of the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARKA) Rashad Azizov have signed a memorandum of cooperation at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Berlin.
The agreement aims at enhancing coproduction mechanisms in audiovisual activities, providing joint services to local and foreign film producers, and increasing projects that share the cultural values of both countries.
Both countries are represented at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival, taking place from 12 to 22 February 2026.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
FNE’s objectives include VISIBILITY for the region and AUDIENCES for films by providing a special focus on the region.
