FESTIVALS: Verzio International Human Rights Documentary FF 2022 Announces Winners

    BUDAPEST: Little Palestine, Diary of a Siege by Abdallah Al-Khatib received the award for best human rights film in the International Competition of the 19th Verzió International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, running 8 – 20 November 2022.

    The Hungarian/German coproduction Holy Dilemma by Márton Vízkelety and Julianna Ugrin was awarded Best Film in the Hungarian Competition.

    The winners were announced on 13 November and the films are available for the Hungarian audience in the festival’s online library Verziótéka from 14 to 20 November 2022.

    Audience Award:
    The Killing of a Journalist (Denmark, Czech Republic, USA)
    Directed by Matt Sarnecki
