In the last grants competition for this year Jellyfish on the Moon /Medūza mėnulyje by Ernestas Jankauskas, produced by Dansu Films, received 20,000 EUR out of a preproduction budget of 63,000 EUR and Chess-player /Šachmatininkas directed by Linas Ryškus and produced by Kino kultas received 12,700 EUR out of a preproduction budget of 17,500 EUR.

During its first competition in 2015 the Lithuanian Film Centre distributed 1,751,047 EUR to 24 projects (in production or in development).

According to the new funding regulations, the next funding competition, for 2016, will be launched in April 2015. A total of 2,190,226 EUR will be allotted for two competitions held in 2015.
