TVN Group informed FNE that the company chose Brightcove Inc. to implement its virtual storage clouds designed for the broadcaster’s video content. The introduction of new technology was needed because of the station's rapidly growing popularity among Internet users. TVN will be able to provide its users with access to the materials and manage them in a more facilitated and centralized way.

"Our viewers and users of our Internet services as well as our partners will have the possibility to see our video content in the best quality on every device they choose - either a TV set, their computers or mobile devices," commented Maciej Maciejowski, a TVN Board Member tasked with business development of the company.

The partnership is also expected to improve and increase advertising possibilities. TVN Group is also counting on new developments in this area with the company's VOD platform TVN player being one of the most popular sources for web entertainment in Poland with a record of 5.9 m real users noted in November of 2013, the most recent available data.
