The nominated films were chosen in 19 categories out of 53 feature films released in Polish cinemas in 2015 and 63 documentaries. Most of the nominations, nine, were given to Body/Ciało while These Daughters of Mine/Moje Córki Krowy was nominated in seven categories.
Polish Film Awards The Eagles are chosen by more than 600 members of the Polish Film Academy in a two-step vote. The 2016 ceremony is planned for 7 March 2016 and will be nationally broadcast by TVP 2.
